Steven Del Re, LMHC

Steven works with teens, adults, couples, emergency room staff, first responders, and veterans or members of active duty. His therapeutic approach is both direct and empathetic, where he provides his clients with the tools and opportunities to explore how to best adapt from their current stressors. Steven works with clients that are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma or PTSD, and relationship or marital issues. Steve uses cognitive behavior therapy and Gottman Couples therapy to help clients become aware of their stressors and cope in healthier ways.

Steve is a 10-year combat veteran and a former lead Crisis Intervention Deputy for Hillsborough County. His personal and professional experiences make him the ideal therapist to work with clients in high-stress positions or with a history of work-related trauma. Steve has experience working in community mental health, law enforcement, the military, and private practice all over Florida. His ability to build rapport and connect with clients allows his clients to reach their goals in a collaborative environment.
