Florida Parent Education & Family Stabilization Course
UPCOMING CLASS: May 17th – 10am-2pm
*A minimum of 4 participants is required for the class to proceed. If the minimum is not met, the class will be rescheduled and you will be notified in advance.
Florida law requires divorcing parents with minor children to complete a Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course. This four-hour course is designed to help parents understand the impact of divorce or separation on their children, improve co-parenting skills, and reduce family conflict. Completion of the course is mandatory before finalizing a divorce and must be taken by both parents individually.
We offer this course in person, using a mix of engaging videos, lecture-style teaching, and guided discussion to help parents learn and apply key concepts in a supportive environment. Our approved course provides practical tools to support families through transition while prioritizing the well-being of the child. Classes are held once a month on Saturdays.
The course is facilitated and led by Araceli Gauna-Scattolini, LMHC, an experienced licensed mental health counselor with a trauma-informed, client-centered approach.
