Michele Lescard is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for helping clients discover their inner strengths and develop effective coping strategies to navigate life’s challenges. With over 10 years of experience in the field, Michele specializes in working with teens, adults, and the elderly, including neurodivergent individuals with Autism and Intellectual Disability.
Michele earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of South Florida and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Chapel Hill in North Carolina and obtained her LCSW in 2019. Her diverse therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT).
Michele’s approach is empathetic, goal-oriented, and client-centered. She creates a warm, non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. Her extensive experience encompasses a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, family conflict, self-esteem, self-worth, parenting guidance, trauma, and spiritual growth. Believing that mental health is a vital component of overall well-being, Michele is dedicated to helping her clients invest in their whole selves – physical, mental, and spiritual.
